Ever read The Stand? If not you should go to amazon and buy a copy right now. It’s one of the best books I have ever read. My second favorite in fact. It also happens to be one of the scariest books you will ever read. Not because of monsters and gore but because of how eerily plausible it truly is.

The disease that kills the world is a powerful FLU. That’s it. It has many names but it’s basically the superflu. And you’re reading the break down of society from top down. Frankly the book is awesome and everyone should read it.

Especially times like these. When a fancy new disease is scarring the cable news networks silly. They were caught off guard. They barely had enough time to create graphics and theme music for the Swine Flu. If Obama had cough or sneezed during his press conference then I would be actually terrified of this pig virus. Not for me but for all of you. I would totally survived and destroy Boulder, Colorado.
