Looks like even good ole’ Castlevania is getting the “God of War treatment” these days. And from Kojima Productions no less. Mr. “Metal Gear” himself. I guess we can expect long cut scenes with convoluted plot devices and retarded story arcs and crazy twists! Also, maybe a mech or two that makes cow sounds.

Good on them though. As someone who’s a huge fan of Symphony of the Night and all the DS Castlevania games, I have to say I’m skeptical of the transition to 3D. I realize it’s been done before with luke warm results. But jesus, it looks like God of War with vampires and werewolves! I’m in! Shit, Jess will probably be in too! She loves vampires!

PLUS IT HAS FACEPALM IN IT!

    I’m a pretty big Castlevania fan, going all the way back to NES.

    The change to 3-D did not work at all when they made the Nintendo 64 game, but for some reason everything I watched during this video just felt right… even Patrick Stewarts voice… it just all worked so well together, like Peanut Butter and Bananas.

    Will it be symphony of the night? Probably not.

    Will it be better than the movie Paul Anderson was going to make until it got canned… WITHOUT A DOUBT!

    Will it become it’s own Symphony of the NIght… quite possibly.
