The United States government recently contacted us here at Bonus Level and asked us to help out with the digital transition. We being deathly afraid of the United States government readily agreed to do whatever they asked.

Tonight at midnight the analog box is unplugged and thrown out all across the country. The airwaves go all digital as of then. That means if you are one of the sad people who still use bunny ears to get SD TV then you are fucked. But who does that anymore really? We all have cable or FiOS or satellite so we are all good. This really only effects those people who get their SDTV through rabbit ears. That’s it. The rest of us are good to go. Jodie Foster in Contact style.

The real question is, what’s next? What do we as a people use all of that free spectrum for? Well it’s not free free it’s more like free as in not being used. Is it going to be faster cell phones? Verizon made a bid for it. Could it be free wifi internet? Google made a bid for it as well. Honestly I don’t know what it is going to be but I do know it will effect all of us. Hopefully it won’t be excessive face raping. I hate that.
