Yesterday came news of a major announcement. Lucasarts will start offering some of their classic point and click adventures through steam! This can only be described as the greatest announcement in the history of mankind. Now this is just the start of LucasArts re-releasing their catalog on steam so we can only hope to see some new X-Wing games coming. But for now here is the list -

• Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure
• LEGO® Indiana Jones: The Original Adventure
• LOOM™
• Star Wars Battlefront® II
• Star Wars Republic Commando®
• Star Wars Starfighter™
• The Dig®
• Thrillville®: Off the Rails™

Kind of a great start if you ask me. The two games that interest me the most are The Dig and Fate of Atlantis. Both games I already own on CD-Rom but currently have no clue on how to get them to play on my netbook. Any help in that regard would be mightily appreciated! The only thing I could not find is the price of these games. The press release doesn’t mention pricing of the games or whether this is a special bundle.

    Prices are out, the adventures games appeared to be handsomely priced at 4.99 each.
