Not everyone will know who Philip Rosedale is but I bet everyone knows his creation, Second Life. Does everyone else remember the virtual land grab that was going on a few years back? All of the big companies felt that getting a good location in Second Life was essential to their future business on the web. I guess someone somewhere asked the important question, “Does anyone know anyone who actually plays this thing?” I’ve never met anyone who played it myself but according to “media” it is very popular with people. Regardless, it’s a fascinating talk about building virtual worlds.
