Microsoft had their extremely dull keynote at CES earlier this evening. Most of the Windows news was pretty dull. However from the XBox front we learned that Natal is coming this year and this spring will launch a new service for Live members. In fact its for both Lives – Windows and XBox. It’s called Game Room and its basically a rip off of Home. As of now I couldn’t embed the trailer because Silverlight was being a bitch. But you can go here and check out the trailer. If friends could play YOUR games in YOUR arcade this could be interesting. But most likely you will have to buy special Game Room games and only be able to play the ones you buy. Because Frogger apparently should still cost 10 bucks.

    Also, could be interesting, but only if the games are offered for free and the Game Room is supported by ads, like Sony’s Home. That’s the only way I can see myself spending any time in there.
