Here’s a video of me saying “um” and “ah” a lot. I also talk about gaming on the Palm Pre for a bit. Mostly though, it’s the “um” and “ah” show. Also, contrary to popular belief turning the ringer volume down does not actually turn the in-game music down. DURP!!

I wouldn’t call this “in depth” by any stretch, just me playing some games on my Pre. Those games being Assassins Creed, Let’s Golf and Asphalt 5. Notice the sweet-ass intro I made up for the opening of our video reviews with character sprites by OSK Studios and music by Lance! SHOUT OUT!

Anyways, enjoy. Fuck, I hate my voice!

so it looks like racing games suck on touchscreens. and platformers.

that golf does look good, though.

Racing isn’t so bad, I was playing like shit cause trying to hold it up to the camera and trying to see the thing is hard. If the game supports alternate control schemes, IE. Accelerometer Steering or Touch Steering (shown in video) at least you have some options. Asphalt 5 does support both, I just choose to look like LESS of a moron by forgoing the accelerometer. Golf is very fun, it also supports alternate control schemes if you like more challenge in your golf games. (I don’t.) Assassin’s Creed is just frustrating as shit though, there’s no defending it. The touch pad just doesn’t work, even with the option to set it up like a digital pad, it’s just not accurate enough and that coupled with piss-poor level design leads to a LOT of cheap and shitty deaths. For some reason though, i can’t stop playing it. :(
