I hate to link to this. I really do. Having said that, this is the typical attitude towards our favorite hobby and it isn’t going away anytime soon. People see video games as evil and will always try to demonize it as such. The thing I find most appalling is the lack of research clearly done for this story. That and the fact that it has an awful sound mix. People seriously, this new fangle thing called stereo isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. To me the errors in this report are utterly obvious so I won’t go into them. I’ll leave that up to our comments and surely it’ll be a hot topic on this weeks netcast.

Well, I’m convinced. Anybody want my XBox?

I like how they mentioned the Wii as a predatory console. For that to happen, you’d have to actively search them out, exchange friend codes, input the information and then each buy WiiSpeak to get the harassment moving. So dangerous…

LOL! f’real! Also, this news piece actually taught me that the Wii could go online… anyone else know that? I thought it just bowled…

It bowls AND face rapes children Paul. You knew that.

I’m sorry Mario, the princess is in another castle… but here’s a picture of my 36 year old snatch, enjoy.

I think what pisses me off about reports like this is they decide to zero in on video games (for this week).

If they really wanted to report accurately they’d show that this occur with any form of entertainment or internet use that has social contact during it:

    - Chat
    - Facebook
    - Myspace
    - Twitter
    - E-mail
    - etc.

It would be cool if you could hit your dashboard button though and a “Report Abuse” button was an option.

Once you do that, you could handle the situation, and move on.
