PORTAL 2!!! UUUUNNNNGGGGHHHH!!! YEAH!

Game Informer just dropped the knowledge on the gaming populace with the reveal of the next issue’s cover. PORTAL 2! All that Internet Matlockery has paid off, or not, whatever. Kudos to you people who figured out that Valve was going to make a sequel to a very popular game. That must have been super hard.

From the imagery we can deduce that the game more than likely will take place outside of Aperture Science Facilities. We can further speculate that there is some kind of jungle setting (LOST!!) and that possibly there are other survivors. I for one hope that Valve doesn’t go too overboard and make the story overly broad. The reason it worked so well the first time was due to the small nature of the narrative.

Steam news states that the game will be released this holiday season. In other news, it seems certain letters in the news release are underlined on purpose spelling out ‘drattmannh0nee’ and sending amateur internet detectives into a frothing mania. Check it out here and be ready with your pipe and magnifying glass.
