I hope everyone enjoyed the short week we had. Yesterday was just absolutely BEAUTIFUL here in northern Virginia. Hopefully fall is upon us and we can be done with the sticky hot summer. My ankle is doing better from the bad sprain it received on Sunday. It looks a lot worse, trust me.

So have you called the new Bonus Level Radio hotline? We have gotten a bunch of calls already. One jokester just said one word. We think this will bring a new level of interactivity to the show and allow people to directly comment or talk to us on anything they want. If a big story breaks during the week call us and talk to us about it! Have your voice heard! So what’s the number? It’s (432)-301-WARP(9277)! Call away!

Mine was far and away Raphael. I loved the sai and his sarcasm. In the comics he was even better.

i hope you are referring to volume 1 of the mirage comic series. the first 21 issues of that (and the original ‘tales’) are some of my favorite reads and prized possessions.

    Indeed I am.

I love all things Ninja Turtles. I have no hatred for the more kid friendly versions at all.

just to be clear, i’ve no hatred for the 80′s cartoon version of the turtles. they are campy and hilarious, i have the first season on my media center and actually enjoyed the recent “turtles forever” straight-to-dvd movie. but the original eastman and laird black and white version will always be my favorite.

Back in college we had the editor of the first TMNT film come and discuss the film. He essentially said that the original vision of the first film was much closer to the original comics. Darker and closer to an R Rating. Hew as brought in to recut the film and shoot extra scenes to bring it down to its PG rating. The first question after making that statement was “Does a copy of that version exist?” And the guy responded almost dumbfounded at the very thought “No, why would you want to see it?”
