Bonus Level Has Been Retconned

A while ago I posted an article saying welcome to Bonus Level 2.0 or something along those lines. On the surface our visitors saw a redesign of the site. We did this because we had out grown our old site and desperately needed a new one. As it turns out we love it but are in the midst of yet another redesign! It seems we are tinkerers by nature.

If you’ve listened to Bonus Level Radio you know that we sometimes go down the rat hole into other topics not strictly video game related. We did our best to keep it on topic but we are all fanboys and fangirls at heart so it was hard! We love video games but we also love other dorky/nerdy/geeky things. Some suggested we should do a separate show and today we are doing just that.

We have added three more contributors to the site whose main focus will be on Comic Books (another fun passion of us nerds). They will be doing write ups and articles as well as anything else that fits their fancy. They will also be doing their very own radio show called Retcon Radio (ever notice the menu item at the top of the page that said radio shows?). Right now the schedule for the show will be bi-weekly with the weeks they are off having articles. You will be able to subscribe to it separately from Bonus Level Radio so if this new show isn’t your cup of tea you don’t have to listen to it.

So the three lads involved are named Martin, Matt and Pete (not to be confused with superfan Peter). They did a test record of their first show last night and I hear it was a blast. Sadly tech issues made the show not record so you’ll have to wait a bit longer for their first episode.

There’s a lot more to the nit and gritty on how and why this came to be and I feel it’s best for them to tell their own story so I won’t here. Just know that I got a big shit eating grin on my face as we begin our expansion!
