App Time: Stupid Zombies

Just when I thought my obssession with simple/addictive casual gaming was waning Peter sends me a link to Stupid Zombies from Game Resort with a scary warning. He said “goodbye to the rest of your day”. Boy was he right.

The game is simple in that Angry Birds mold. On one side you have a Rambo looking dude with a gun. And on the other side are Zombies placed in numerous locations and you gotta shoot them dead. Seems simple but heres the twist – you are inclosed in a box and the bullets ricochet! Okay not a great twist but one that’s fun.

There are ton’s of levels and the graphics are fitting. At first I wanted the controls to be even simplier than they are. I wanted to just tap where I wanted to shoot but a crosshair comes up to help you find the best shot. It took all of thirty seconds to get used to and is perfect for the game. The game is free (read ad-supported) on Android and $0.99 on iTunes. Totally worth picking up!
