I meant to write this post last week but due to circumstances way way behind my control (with a smidgen of circumstances within my control) I was unable to do it. That’s really neither here nor there but it’s why I didn’t do this last week.

We are currently running a contest right now to gain more fans on Facebook. I know it sounds dumb and to some extent hypocritical. Remember how reluctant I was to add the Like button Paul? But we have been stuck on 128 fans for so long we had to do something. Peter had the idea of donating his beloved Avenger controller to this cause. All you had to do was enter! This was a great start I felt but I wanted it to be bigger and grander. Peter agrees too and keeps tell me that he wants to donate an iPad 2 to the cause. Seriously. You should see my chat history. But since I know his wife a tad and having grown quite fond with Peter living I have done what I can to shoot that thought down.

So how do we ‘sweeten’ the pot in addition to the Avenger Controller? Well if you’ve been listening to Bonus Level Radio you already know how I am doing it. First I am adding an autographed copy of my favorite book about the history of Nintendo, Game Over. Love love love this book. The section about Tetris is absolutely riveting.

Secondly, I am adding my Nintendo Watch. This is the watch I wore through my later high school and college years. The band is slightly worn and it needs a new battery but other than that it’s in great condition. Yes I will replace the battery for the winner. Whats special about this watch? I obtained it on my pilgrimage to Nintendo Of America before my sophomore year in High School. Thats right the actual headquarters for Nintendo in the western hemisphere.

Thirdly, my Red Dead Redemption Poster. It’s a poster of Red Dead Redemption. I will also throw in numerous stickers and other items I acquired while at PAX East.

And lastly the granddaddy of all the prizes my Mario Painting. This is the famous Mario Painting I have mentioned numerous times on the show. It’s something I personally did and can be yours if you enter!

However to unlock this achievement though we must hit a certain ‘like’ milestone. I will only give this painting to the winner of this contest if we reach 175 likes on FaceBook. If we reach 225 you will get it framed! Right now we are at 137 fans so the winner would NOT get this prize! If this prize is awarded I will provide a certificate of authenticity to the winner so they know it’s the real original.

That’s some pretty cool prizes if you ask me. Especially for only having to like us on FaceBook. Below are the official rules of this contest as stated on the wallpaper post announcing it! The only difference is we extended the contest because I couldn’t write this post last week.

So how do you win it? It’s rather simple. You like us on Facebook. Thats it. Click on the link to your right and you’re done! If you already have liked us you are already entered! That simple! But wait theres more!

You can have multiple entries but this is where the work comes in. If you can get your buddies to ‘Like’ us on Facebook you can get multiple entries. Just have your buddy tell us on a wall post that you told them to like us! Make sense? No? Hopefully this helps.

Trent was the 28th person to link us on Facebook. He is already entered but so is the other 137 people. But Trent wants more entries! He wants to win this sweet ass controller real bad! So what does he do? He goes out and gets all of his friends to “Like” us on Facebook and tells them to post on our wall that they are now fans of ours because of Trent! They get entered and Trent gets another entry! Trent now doubles his chances at winning.

But if they don’t tell us that Trent brought them to our site they don’t get multiple entries! So it’s very important to do that!
