I’d like to preface this App Time by saying that One Single Life by FreshTone Games barely squeaked in as an official App Time but it’s an unique and almost unheard of system, so I felt it had to be shown to ya’ll. Also the game is FREE, so why not.

Firstly the title is very self explanatory as you have one chance in this Canabalt or Robot Unicorn inspired game of running to the right. Each stage has you gauging a distance between two buildings and timing your jump just right.

The artistic style is rotoscoping with very smooth animation in the same vain as the original Prince of Persia. Failing leaves you at a credits screen but you’ll notice that you’ll get an extra life if you complete this dream like jumping scenario as you tap the screen. Pro-tip: at the very last jump where there is no platform to land just jump at the last possible second. After that you’ll be deposited right where you left off.

I currently I’m stuck at the 7th stage (even after my extra life) and will have to delete the game and reinstall it just to complete this one chance game.
