The Pre-E3 show is one of my favorite shows of the year. It always feels like Christmas Eve to me. We know that just in a few days we will get inundated with more news than any normal human can decipher but we love it. Back when I was growing up and rock ‘n roll came to East Germany we didn’t have things like the internet. We got our news via magazines and this was the time of year I would pick up 5-8 gaming mags beyond my normal allotment just so I could see all of the screenshots and read about gameplay. Now we get FMV trailers and read about the gameplay. Not sure how much better things are but at least the keynotes are now streamed live on the internet. This wasn’t the case as late as 2008. Was still reading all of the live blogs Apple Keynote style.
This week since Chris and Gloria are out and on assignment I asked Ivan from the Dimension N podcast and Peter from Saved By The Cell to come on and give me their predictions for this years E3. We also talked about the current state of the 5 Year lifecycle, Call of Duty Elite and EA’s Origin. It’s a great great great show one I think everyone will love!
