    Sigh…You guys always talk about things that I actually know about and can contribute to when I’m not around :(  
    I had the EA downloader cuz of The Sims 3, and it automatically updated to Origin last year.  Its definitely a Steam clone, you can do the overlay thing while you’re playing like you can with Steam.  However, I only have 3 friends on Origin as opposed to 20 on Steam.  Origin doesn’t have the community aspect that Steam does, mostly cuz PC gamers avoid Origin at all costs cuz its from EA and EA = evil.  
    I haven’t had any of the crazy bugs that other people complain about, my only complaint with Origin is the color scheme.  One thing I do like is that I can register my EA games on Origin and they’ll let me download a copy so I don’t need the disc anymore.  Something EA did right?  Shocking!
